Process
A Professional Appraisal Without the Confusion
From your first request to a delivered report, here's exactly what to expect at every stage of the appraisal process.
Three Stages
The Appraisal Journey
Every assignment moves through the same three stages. Select a stage to see exactly what happens at each step.
Request
Tell us about the property and why you need the appraisal through our online intake or by contacting us directly.
Scope Review
We review the assignment details and determine the appropriate scope of work, effective date, and any specialized requirements.
Scheduling
We coordinate a convenient time for the property to be reviewed, when an inspection is required for the assignment.
Inspection (Where Applicable)
For assignments requiring one, the appraiser visits the property to document size, condition, layout, and notable features.
Market Research
We research relevant market conditions, trends, and data for the property's area as of the appropriate effective date.
Comparable Analysis
Recently sold, similar properties are identified and adjusted for differences in location, size, age, condition, and features.
Reconciliation
All research and analysis is reconciled into a single, supportable opinion of value.
Report Preparation
Findings are documented in a formal appraisal report, prepared in accordance with professional appraisal standards.
Delivery
Your completed report is securely delivered, and made available through your account when applicable.
Questions & Revisions
If a factual or clerical question arises about the report, we're available to review and address it as appropriate.
